Quick & Easy Seared Pork Chop

PC1.jpg

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb of bone-in pork chops (about 2 pork chops)

  • 2 tbsp of grapeseed oil

  • Tony Chachere’s seasoning

  • 1 tsp of pepperoncini vinegar (the liquid in the jar) and a few pepperoncini’s for topping

Pull the pork chops out of the refrigerator about 20-30 minutes before you want to cook them. They should come fully to room temperature. Pat them dry with a paper towel so they can get extra crispy.

Coat the pork chops (generously) with the Tony Chachere’s seasoning.

Heat the oil in a pan and when hot, add in your pork chops. Depending on the thickness of the chops, sear on each side for about 4-6 minutes or until fully cooked and you have a nice sear.

Before serving, drizzle the vinegar from the pepperoncini's over the chops- the acidity of the vinegar is soooo nice with the savory chop.

I served my chops with crispy oven baked potatoes and sautéed green beans.
