Eating DMV: HoneyPig Korean BBQ

1.jpg

Korean BBQ is one of my favorite meals to eat and HoneyPig is my favorite place to get it near DC! It is simple, delicious and fun! I love all the tangy, crunchy and well-seasoned bonchon (sides) that come with the BBQ-ed meat and rice. Every time I go grocery shopping in Northern Virginia, I always make sure to stop at HoneyPig for lunch. It is a great place for big groups and it is a great price for value for money.

Whenever I go, I always order the beef platter, that comes with Kalbi (Korean braised beef rib), Bulgogi, Beef Brisket, and Skirt Steak. No matter what or how much you order you always get rice, kimchi, and a a few other bonchon, like broccoli salad, pickled radish, potato salad and other varieties, To top off your KBBQ experience, I would definitely recommend ordering pan-fried mandu (dumplings) and steamed egg.

I have even had a birthday dinner at HoneyPig and it was great fun. About 20 of us Ubered over from DC and ordered PLATTERS of food and bottles of soju.
