  • I got promoted on October 1st to Manager (woooo!) and to celebrate we ordered some Sushi Taro pick-up. Delicious, as always. We went crazy and got the expensive toro since we were celebrating!

  • We officially wrapped up Summer 2021 (yes, I know it is October) by going to Annapolis for the last crab-fest of the season. We went to our favorite spot, Cantler’s and it was very very worth it!

  • I went to LA (again) for a family wedding (details below) and we had brunch at The Rose in Venice and had the most delicious carbonara I have possibly ever had.

  • I made Jake Cohen’s pumpkin coffee cake and DANG it was delicious. The pumpkin was subtle and made the cake super moist and delicious (often times I find coffee cakes dry out in the oven). This was an incredibly easy recipe and maybe it will find a spot on my Thanksgiving menu!

  • I recently discovered this line of flavored almonds at H Mart and, man, these are good. There were at least 45 flavors (both sweet and savory) and it was so hard to pick two to buy, but went for the tiramisu and cookies & cream.

Other Things That Made Me Happy:

  • I went to LA again for a family wedding (mazel tov Danielle & Alec!!!) and it was so nice to see my dad’s side of the family- some of them I haven’t seen since 2017. The wedding was so beautiful!!

  • We have started watching Atypical on Netflix and we can’t get enough. Absolutely in love with all of the characters and if you are looking for a funny, light hearted show, definitely show to check out!
