Ingredients:

  • 1 rack of pork ribs

  • 1/4 cup of brown sugar

  • 2 tsp of kosher salt

  • 2 tsp of black pepper

  • 2 tsp of paprika

  • 1 tsp of garlic powder

  • 1 tsp of onion powder

  • 1 tsp of ground mustard powder

  • 1/2 tsp of Ancho chili powder ( cayenne pepper or gochugau works too!)

Dry off your rack of ribs with a paper towel and set aside on a tin foiled lined baking sheet.

In a bowl, mix together your dry rub with a fork, making sure there are no chunks of brown sugar and the seasoning is well mixed up.

Using your hands, sprinkle the dry rub onto both sides of the rack, rubbing it in with your hands.

Cover the rack of ribs lightly with plastic wrap and let them sit in the fridge for as long as possible with the seasoning. If you do this the night before you make them, even better!!

Preheat your oven to 300F. Unwrap the rack of ribs from the plastic wrap and place in the oven. Cook for 2-3 hours or until the meat is tender when you stick a fork through it or can wiggle a bone out.

Note: This rub would be delicious on steaks and wings, too!
