2023 Food-Lover Holiday Gift Guide

A little late but better than never! Here is my 2023 Gift Guide for the food-lover in your life!

I love anything Le Creuset, but I think the mini round cocottes are a perfect gift for someone that already has baking dishes and Dutch ovens. Get a set of 4 in their preferred color, and I am sure they will be thrilled!

The OXO Handheld Mandolin may not the most exciting gift in the world, but, I guarantee this will be very well loved and used. This could be a good stocking-stuffer if you celebrate Christmas or a good mini gift or white elephant gift.

Tenderheat by Hetty Lui McKinnon has to be one of the most talked about cookbooks of 2023. If they don’t already own this book, it is one they will likely love to have in their collection. This veggie-forward collection of recipes is sure to inspire in the kitchen.

Portico by Leah Koenig is another great cookbook option and a book I was really excited about this year. This book explores the recipe’s of Rome’s Jewish population, old and new. It is a super unique take on a Jewish cookbook and has some amazing stories and history to read through.

No links for this one, but if you are looking or a thoughtful and personalized (and appreciated) gift, I would go for a bundle of either their favorite wines or some wines you are super excited about. Or a really nice quality alcohol they love!

This one is a bit kitchen adjacent but could be great for someone that just moved or just is looking to spruce up their space- how about a washable runner for their kitchen from Ruggable?

This, double-deckered ceramic produce bowl by Emile Henry is honestly genius. Keep your fruits on top and then keep your onions and garlic below and out of the sunlight! Honestly, any of the things by Emile Henry is a good choice. Excellent French quality at a great price.

Looking for a gift that lasts all year? Look no further than the Lata monthly discovery box! Sign them up and they will get tinned fish deliveries every month! This is a great and fun idea for the foodie that has everything.

How about a lovely cookbook stand? There are a lot of options out there so I would pick one that matches the vibe of their kitchen. I like this one from Food52 and this one from Sur La Table.

Lastly, if you are an “acts of service” kind of person- how about making a reservation at one of the best restaurants in your city? Check out the NYT restaurants of the year list here.
